"G-2000 to G-8000"
Plug & Play Series
The ultimate all-in-one geothermal pre-conditioning module. It heats intake air in winter and cools it in summer, serving as an advanced frost protection component for HRV/ERV units. Designed for instant installation.
-
✔
Fully Integrated: Includes an "A" class circulation pump, safety group, expansion vessel, and NTC sensor inside the insulated EPP housing.
-
✔
Directional Airflow: Designed for LEFT and RIGHT configurations (achievable by adjusting the filter position).
-
✔
Integrated Filtration: A G4/MERV8 filter is included, with front and top doors for easy access and maintenance.
Maximum Efficiency. Minimal Installation Time.
By integrating all necessary hydraulic components into one thermally insulated EPP housing, the G-2000 series significantly reduces installation labor and potential points of failure on-site.
Passive Summer Cooling
The ground collector brine absorbs stable soil temperatures, transferring natural coolness to the incoming air. This prevents building overheating and reduces reliance on active AC systems.
True Plug & Play Design
No need to source and assemble external pumps, expansion tanks, or valves. Connect the ground loop pipes directly to the unit, wire the controller, and the system is ready to operate.
Year-Round Frost Protection
During extreme cold, the unit pre-heats incoming air using geothermal energy. This prevents the ventilation unit's heat exchanger from freezing, ensuring continuous, energy-efficient operation without electric de-icing.
Heat Pump Integration
(No Ground Loop Required)
Cannot install a dedicated geothermal ground loop? GHT modules seamlessly integrate directly into central Air-to-Water or Geothermal Heat Pump systems via a standard buffer tank. This approach is highly popular in advanced US residential and commercial designs.
How It Works in Practice:
-
🌡️
Direct Buffer Tank Feed: The GHT unit receives unmixed water directly from the central HP buffer tank (e.g., 50°F / 10°C in Summer, 125°F / 52°C in Winter). Crucial Freeze Protection: In cold climates, pure water cannot be routed to the intake air coil. A glycol solution (or an intermediate plate heat exchanger separating the tank's water from the GHT glycol loop) must be used to prevent coil bursting during circulation pauses.
-
🎛️
Hybrid Stage Control: Perfect for pairing with radiant floors. The radiant floor acts as 1st stage heating, while the GHT unit acts as 2nd stage heating and primary Summer cooling, all operated by standard thermostats (e.g., Tekmar).
-
⚙️
Precise Flow Management: Easily managed by a single zone circulator. Standard flow setters at the GHT unit ensure exact hydronic flow requirements are met.
